There’s no shortage of shows to enjoy while you’re there, including:

  • The Mint Marching Band, whose route starts at Fun Town and goes through The Beginning and Imagination Zone.
  • Join Bagsy and Sweeps for Once Upon a Brickmas at the Castle Stage as they retell the charming tale of the Wizard and the first snow of Castle Hill.
  • Fairy Training Academy at the Candy Cane Stage invites you to join a LEGO Fairy for an interactive show where you’ll learn to build, sing, and dance like a fairy.
  • Holly Buzz Dance Party is the new interactive holiday dance party where kids and parents can dance and celebrate together.
  • Join Benny’s Ugly Sweater Party, where Benny and his dance crew show off their quirky holiday spirit in ugly Christmas sweaters, of course.

With so many festive performances to enjoy, make sure to check the calendar and app to get the most out of your time at LEGOLAND during the holiday season. Showtimes will vary based on when the park closes, so check the app for updated showtimes.

Meet Favorite Holiday LEGO Characters

We were able to meet LEGO Santa

Visitors can take “elfies” with holiday LEGO characters, such as Reindeer Girl, LEGO Snowman, Toy Soldier, or T-Rex Outfit Fan rocking his holiday sweater. There are also new fairy characters, Ivy and Frode.

See if you can spot Gingerbread Man at his house, accompanied by his fairy bakers.

Order Delicious Holiday Treats

Feeling hungry? Don’t miss the limited-time merry menu with offerings like a holiday version of the famous Granny’s Apple Fries made with crispy apple fries, vanilla soft serve, chocolate sauce drizzle, graham cracker crumb topping, and toasted marshmallows.

There’s also the Sleighride Churro Sundae at the Churro Stand, Frosted Pineapple Breeze mocktail at Knight’s Smokehouse BBQ, and more yummy treats.

Holiday Activities and Holiday Photo Spots

While you’re at LEGOLAND, make sure to visit the newly lit LEGO Christmas tree near the entrance. For some additional holiday magic, mail letters at the North Pole Postal Service and take a picture with LEGO Santa.

You can also check out the epic LEGO wreath and take a family photo there for memories that will last.

Build a LEGO Heart

Spread holiday cheer at the Build to Give Workshop, which allows visitors to build a LEGO heart. For each one built and shared on social media using the hashtag #BuildtoGive, LEGO will donate a LEGO set to children in need via their network of charities. This is the perfect opportunity to give back while having fun.

Santa’s Christmas Magic Fireworks

Come for the LEGOLAND California Christmas experience, but stay for the fireworks. Enjoy fireworks on December 14th and then every day from the 21st through the 30th at 6:45 pm.

The Famous Kids’ New Year’s Eve

There’s also a Kids’ New Year’s Eve on December 31st with family-friendly fireworks at 7 p.m.! My toddler absolutely loved the fireworks, especially because they’re so close.

For a more immersive experience, consider staying at one of the two LEGOLAND hotels—the LEGOLAND Hotel and the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel. Both offer family rooms, character meet-and-greet experiences, and amazing views of the park. It’s the perfect way to extend the holiday magic into your stay.
