Fall Beauty Essentials: Discover My Top Picks for Autumn
With summer behind us and the crisp, cool days of autumn upon us, there’s something comforting about the change in season. The nights grow longer, the days shorter, and our beauty routines naturally shift to accommodate the cooler weather. Here’s a guide to some of my top beauty essentials for this fall season.
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base

This product all began when a friend asked me to bring her some of this ‘face base’. Everywhere I went, it was always sold out. Curiosity piqued, I finally got my hands on it and I’ve been using it throughout the summer. It’s lightweight and easy to apply—more like a moisturizer—and it gives a subtle, dewy glow. It’s a cult favorite, and I’ve officially joined the cult.
Sol de Janeiro Antiperspirant
Price: £18 from Sephora, Amazon US
I’ve been using aluminum-free antiperspirants for a while now, and to be honest, none of them worked well for me until I tried this one. I road-tested it all summer in Sotogrande, Spain, and it quickly became my go-to. It took about two weeks for my body to adjust, but after that, no smells—just a fresh feeling all day long.
Origins Super Spot Remover
Price: £17 from Sephora, Amazon
I’ve always dismissed Origins products as ‘too natural’, but a saleswoman gave me a sample of this spot treatment at the airport, and it was gone almost instantly. After using it for six months, I’m quite pleased with its results. Although it didn’t stop all the random blemishes that appeared since I turned 40, it sure has helped manage them effectively.
Living Proof Advanced Dry Shampoo

I’m a huge fan of Living Proof products, and their dry shampoo has always been excellent—this new version is even better. It’s definitely worth trying the smaller size first because it lasts a fair bit. Perfect for freshening up those second-day hair struggles in the fall.
Body Wash: Ouai St Barths Body Cleanser
Price: £25 from Amazon, Cult Beauty, Sephora
Ouai isn’t just amazing for hair care—their new body range is exceptional. There’s a variety of scents to choose from, but this St Barths body cleanser is currently my favorite.
Hair Care: Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Oil Heat and UV Protector
Price: £22 from Space NK, also available at Amazon UK or Amazon USA
It took me a while to come around to using a heat protectant, but this product convinced me. Just spray it onto damp hair before styling, and you’re ready to go. It smells amazing too.
